The EU F-Gas Regulation (EU) 2024\/573 has been in force since March 11, 2024. This regulation governs the gradual phase-out of hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs).

For M-TEC heat pumps, this specifically means that appliances with the refrigerant R410a and R452b may no longer be placed on the market by manufacturers from 01.01.2027 <\/b>. However, installation companies are still authorized to install heat pumps that were purchased from the manufacturer by the end of 2026, even after 01.01.2027.

Stockpiling before this date and later installation therefore remain permissible.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Phase-out of individual models<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Against this background, the following heat pump types with the refrigerant R410a and R452b will no longer be placed on the market<\/b> by M-TEC by the end of 2026<\/b> .<\/b><\/p>

The models are excluded from<\/b> this:<\/p>

  • Emotion WPD412<\/b> heat pump<\/li>
  • Emotion WPD618<\/b> heat pump<\/li>
  • Emotion WPS1052<\/b> heat pump (limited quantity)<\/li><\/ul>

    These models may continue to be placed on the market until 1 January 2029 (WPD618), 1 January 2035 (WPD412) and 1 January 2030 (WPS1052) respectively.
    The WPLK412, WPLK618, WPLK722 and WPLK1030 heat pumps are still available in limited quantities until further notice.
    Orders must be received by us no later than Monday, 4 May 2026. Unfortunately, orders received after this date cannot be processed due to raw material logistics and procurement lead times.<\/p>
