Production with pure renewable energy.
The company’s own small hydroelectric power plant provides the largest contribution to the energy mix with around 250,000 kWh per year.
Additionally, a photovoltaic system with 50,000 kWh and four powerful heat pumps, which generate approximately 100,000 kWh from solar energy annually, contribute significantly to the sustainable energy supply.

Our history – milestones of success
The origin of M-TEC dates back to 1972, when Karl Mittermayr was one of the first to recognize the advantages of sustainable heat pump technology. In 1979, he brought Austria’s first heat pump installation to market – a milestone that shaped the pioneering spirit of the company. Since then, M-TEC has been driving innovations forward. With the founding of M-TEC GmbH in 2015, this spirit was reignited. To this day, the innovative spirit from back then lives on in modern heat pumps, energy management systems and complete solutions – making M-TEC a strong partner in the energy transition.
