M-TEC launches another modular storage solution
Ideal for commercial, office and agricultural applications - Made in Europe
With the new ENERGY-TOWER, M-TEC expands its portfolio of commercial storage solutions. This modular system has been specially developed for use in small businesses, office and administration buildings as well as in the agricultural sector.
The innovation will be presented for the first time at the EM-Power Europe trade fair for energy management and integrated energy solutions, which takes place from 7 to 9 May in Munich.
Thanks to its scalable capacity from 32.3 to 230.5 kilowatt hours and high system compatibility, the ENERGY TOWER can efficiently expand existing energy concepts and optimise the use of renewable energies. M-TEC has designed this solution both for retrofitting existing PV systems and for integration into new installations.

Typical applications include workshops, cooling or production facilities, office buildings with rooftop PV and EV charging infrastructure, educational institutions, medical practices, municipal buildings and agricultural operations with high energy demands. The ENERGY TOWER will be available from the end of May 2025.

The ENERGY-TOWER is designed to be integrated into both existing and new PV installations. Equipped with M-TEC’s energy management system, it enables precise load distribution, targeted self-consumption optimisation and intelligent peak shaving. Its modular architecture allows gradual scaling, perfectly tailored to the specific needs of each company.
Combined with the Smart Meter, ENERGY-HERO® energy management and the eSmart App, the ENERGY-TOWER becomes a key component for optimising PV self-consumption, enabling off-grid backup power and reducing peak loads. Its built-in active and passive balancing ensures that all battery cells are charged and discharged evenly, contributing to longer battery life and higher system efficiency.
Agricultural businesses, office buildings and craft enterprises are increasingly required to use energy efficiently and strategically. The ENERGY TOWER provides the right solution to meet these demands.
Austrian technology partnership
The technical platform for the ENERGY-TOWER was developed in cooperation with Miba Battery Systems, a battery specialist based in Upper Austria and part of the global Miba technology group headquartered in Laakirchen. While Miba provides the core battery technology, M-TEC contributes its expertise in system integration, inverter technology and energy management.
Premiere at EM-Power Europe
The ENERGY-TOWER will make its public debut at EM-Power Europe 2025, part of The smarter E Europe in Munich. M-TEC will showcase its latest solutions for intelligent and sustainable energy use – including this new modular storage system, a perfect extension to its existing energy solutions platform.
